The SE- 5100/5200-S3 SERIES are the units you need if you're looking for a recorder that can support analog cameras currently in good working order, but also want to add some new HD-CVI or HD IP cameras. This unit will support all three technologies in one recorder. There are 4-8-16 BNC inputs for analog & HD-CVI, and you can add 2-4-8 more IP cameras addressed through a switch. In other words a 4 channel can be a 6 channel an 8 channel a 12 channel and a 16 channel a 24 channel unit.
